8 MILLION PEOPLE IN PERU LACK RELIABLE ACCESS TO BROADBAND INTERNET

More than eight million Peruvians live in rural communities with no broadband internet access. Starting in 2023, Peru's first dedicated satellite, Andesat 1, will help people communicate better, giving them access to services that they don’t have right now, like health systems, education systems, and even the ability to create and run their own businesses.

CONNECTING PERU,
CONNECTING THE WORLD

We believe connectivity is a human right and every global citizen deserves fast, affordable, reliable access to the internet. In 2023, the Andesat 1 MicroGEO satellite will launch into service over Peru, lighting up Andesat cell towers across thousands of rural communities, and bringing millions of people broadband internet access for the very first time.
